আল-বালাদ

Ayah 1 / 20

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ(In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful)

Juz 30Page 594

لَآأُقْسِمُبِهَـٰذَاٱلْبَلَدِ١

ENSaheeh International

I swear by this city [i.e., Makkah]

Juz 30Page 594

وَأَنتَحِلٌّۢبِهَـٰذَاٱلْبَلَدِ٢

ENSaheeh International

And you, [O Muḥammad], are free of restriction in this city

Juz 30Page 594

وَوَالِدٍۢوَمَاوَلَدَ٣

ENSaheeh International

And [by] the father and that which was born [of him],

Juz 30Page 594

لَقَدْخَلَقْنَاٱلْإِنسَـٰنَفِىكَبَدٍ٤

ENSaheeh International

We have certainly created man into hardship.

Juz 30Page 594

أَيَحْسَبُأَنلَّنيَقْدِرَعَلَيْهِأَحَدٌۭ٥

ENSaheeh International

Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?

Juz 30Page 594

يَقُولُأَهْلَكْتُمَالًۭالُّبَدًا٦

ENSaheeh International

He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance."

Juz 30Page 594

أَيَحْسَبُأَنلَّمْيَرَهُۥٓأَحَدٌ٧

ENSaheeh International

Does he think that no one has seen him?

Juz 30Page 594

أَلَمْنَجْعَللَّهُۥعَيْنَيْنِ٨

ENSaheeh International

Have We not made for him two eyes?

Juz 30Page 594

وَلِسَانًۭاوَشَفَتَيْنِ٩

ENSaheeh International

And a tongue and two lips?

Juz 30Page 594

وَهَدَيْنَـٰهُٱلنَّجْدَيْنِ١٠

ENSaheeh International

And have shown him the two ways?
